Mark Hoenig, MD and Cindy Adams, CN
Mark Hoenig, M.D. is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University and the University of Cincinnati School of Medicine where he took special interest in preventive medicine, family practice and nutrition. Doctor Hoenig is a graduate of the Fort Collins Family Practice Residency where he served as chief resident and focused on preventive medicine, indigent care and rural health. Upon graduation in 1992, Dr. Hoenig served as a bilingual provider and medical director for several years at a migrant community health center in Moses Lake, WA. Thereafter, he returned to Fort Collins where he worked at Salud Clinic and served as a clinical faculty member to local family medicine residents. Currently Dr. Hoenig works in a rural family practice and teaches family practice residents part time while expanding his functional medicine practice with Tri-Life Health P.C. Dr. Hoenig’s professional interests include nutrition, wellness, prevention, and healthy aging.
Doctor Hoenig has lived in Fort Collins for over ten years and shares his life there with his wife Sue and his four school age children; Ryan, Eric, Austin and Tessa. He has many interests including running, bicycling, hiking, art, and practicing his Spanish.
Cindy Adams, C.N. is a certified nutritionist in private practice at Tri-Life Health, PC.
She earned her CN (Certified Nutritionist) graduate degree designation from the nationally accredited American Health Sciences University (AHSU), Aurora, CO in March of 1999. The AHSU program is an integrative nutrition program specializing in training nutritionists in one-on-one wellness counseling and coaching. Cindy has completed additional certifications as a Lifestyle Educator for the Metagenics FirstLine Therapy program and as a Brain Integration Therapist from Brain Transformations, LLC, Colorado Springs, CO. Cindy has over 10 years experience in the health food industry, counseling on nutrition and public speaking.
